About Radio Baha'i

Radio Bahá’í, WLGI, is a non-commercial educational radio station, that has served northeastern South Carolina since 1984. Radio Bahá’í is hosted at the Louis G. Gregory Bahá’í Institute, located near Hemingway, South Carolina. The station is owned by the Regional Bahá’í Council of the Southeastern States, and it is currently funded wholly from contributions of the Baha’is of the United States.

Radio Bahá’í strives to reflect universal spiritual principles and the application of the teachings of the Baha’i FaithOpens in a new window in its programing.

We serve Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg, Florence and Marion counties, in South Carolina, and are the areas for which the provides announcements, partners with local organizations and agencies, and supports with remote broadcasts

  • Waccamaw EOC Summer Food Service Program

    The Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, Inc., is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program is designed to bridge the gap between, when children are in school and when schools are closed, by continuing to provide nutritious meals and snacks to children. Meals will be provided to all children ages 18 and younger without charge.
