The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) with community partners is holding 13 free COVID-19 mobile testing and popup clinics throughout the state, and more clinics will be announced in the coming days.

Horry County Government to Hold COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics! You can check them out from 7 am- 7 pm on Friday of April 23rd, and Saturday of April 24th at the M. L. Brown Public Safety Building at 2560 Main Street in Conway South Carolina, 29526. Subsequent second dose appointments will be scheduled for recipients on Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22, in the same location. Vaccinations will be offered by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be permitted at this time. Anyone interested in receiving the Moderna vaccine can click here to be directed to SCDHEC's for sign-up!

Horry-Georgetown Technical College will host a job fair on May 18 at its campus in Conway. The event, being held in conjunction with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, will take place in the overflow parking lot between Highway 501 and Victory Lane. The fair will be open to students from 9-11 a.m. and the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Business vendors participating in the fair must be willing to interview or hire on the spot. The 2021 Youth Symposium on the Mental Health Effects of COVID-19 on Robeson County Youth." The goals of the symposium is (1) to bring awareness of the different ways COVID-19 has directly impacting youth, i.e., Depression, Obesity, lack of social skill building, etc); (2) to give youth an outlet to hear from other youth regarding the issues they've been going through since COVID-19 first started; (3) for youth to be reunited safely with other youth.at 401 N Walnut St
